It feels like being torn in half – like one half of you needs to drink but the other half is fighting not to. And people keep telling you that you’re fine, or others won’t say you have a problem; they just antagonize you by saying you act like an asshole and aren’t yourself when you’re drunk. And you kind of laugh it off, even get some pride out of what a hilarious drunk you are.
But underneath, there’s something wrong. You have anxiety, you’ve taken or are considering taking anti-depressants and you just feel toxic from drinking too much – like every cell in your body is filled with alcohol and your soul is resting lifeless on the floor of a piss soaked dive bar bathroom.
I get it. I was there.
My Name is Mike. And I’m really happy you’re here.
I’m happy that you see that alcohol is fucking you over and that you want more from life.
There are so many people who are content with the same bullshit routine every day; wake up, go to work, get wasted, repeat.
But not you. You want to do something with your life. You want to have some sort of success before you die, whatever it is.
And I want to help you get there.
I’ve been sober since 2009 and I’ve created blogs, a catering business with my wife and I study and hang out with entrepreneurs. I believe in dreaming big and helping people learn how to dream big and achieve their wildest dreams.
Hacking Sobriety is a source for free and paid information for people who want to get sober, stay sober and then take their lives to the highest level possible.
I also provide Sober Coaching services (life coaching for those who wish to get sober or for those in recovery).
I believe there’s hope for anyone who wants to quit drinking and I want to help you make it a seriously awesome journey.
